How on-device processing works
All PDF operations — merge, split, rotate, stamp, convert — execute locally using your browser’s compute and memory. Nothing is sent to a backend.
This means your data stays under your control, even when working with sensitive or confidential documents.
Analytics (minimal and optional)
We collect basic usage analytics such as page views and device type to understand general usage patterns.
- No document contents are tracked
- No filenames or metadata are collected
- Analytics can be blocked without affecting functionality
Offline and installable
After your first visit, core assets are cached so you can continue working offline. Installing OnDevicePDF keeps tools available even when connectivity is unreliable.
Data retention and security
Because files never reach our servers, there is no server-side data to retain, secure, or delete. All processing happens in-memory and is cleared when the session ends.
