Yes. Blank pages are found automatically and selected for you, including on scans where every page is an image. Scanner dust, punch holes and edge shadows are ignored, and a page carrying only a page number is kept. Nothing is deleted until you confirm, so you can keep any page with a click.

Duplex scanners scan the back of every sheet, including backs with nothing on them. This tool finds those empty backs by looking at the page itself, so paper tone, dust and punch holes do not stop it, and it keeps any back that has even a page number.

No. A page with a page number is kept, even a small or light-grey number. The tool checks for ink exactly where the text layer says the number is. Invisible text left by OCR software does not count, so truly blank pages are still found.
